Default Ex 93 coupe gas mileage

from what i estimate, i get about 26 mpg highway and of course less than that on the street. about 170k on the engine w/ header, exhaust, intake, plugs n wires, wheels from a 2000 civic and everything else stock. so can someone tell me what reduces mpg?

maybe the few horses you added on to the engine reduces it by a few. as well as how you drive your car.

http://www.gassavers.org/forum is a good discussion of this, but anyway, it's a whole host of things. It sounds like you're doing pretty badly, how fast do you drive on the highway?

NO pedal to the metal action
Basically you need to go easy on the gas pedal, try that for a week and see if there's any difference.

It absolutely does not. Popular mechanics or someone tested it on a dyno and it made it worse. There are a few things to do but that is not one of them.

Ooo, find out, it might be something important like o2 sensor that can be fixed easily and will get your mileage to not look like you drive a f350.
