Everything seems right, car will not start! Help!
Alright guys here it is. I have a Y8 block with a Z6 head and skunk2 IM. This motor also has a small turbo kit on it. I am just including this info just in case it may matter. I have checked spark (wires and dizzy), new spark plugs, new gas, fuel pump is primeing, fuel rail gets fuel, etc, etc... I have tried using starter fluid in the IM like some people have suggested, and I have checked all my grounds. The car spins over just never cranks. I have no clue as to what this could be. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time!

The car will spin as long as I turn the key. It will also sputter and pop like it is going to turn over it just never does!

its your timing, are the spark plugs in the right order? is the dizzy the correct one for the motor?

I ordered a brand new dizzy for the motor and it is the right one! I also checked the spark plugs and they are right! I may see if I can ****** a dizzy off my friends CRX and try it. He just put a z6 in that is working just fine. I will try that and holla back in about 30 min!

Check to make sure the dizzy is installed on the engine correct. I put mine on 180 degrees out of time once and my engine did exactly what you are describing.

I have so far tried everything that you guys have said and nothing has worked. I have swapped the dizzy from a working Z6 to my engine, no luck. I have also tired to install the dizzy another way but there doesn't seem to be any other way that it can be put on so it must be right. I am still at a loss. Thanks for all the suggestions. If you have any more then let me know. I am waiting with tools in my hand !

It's probably your timing. Mine was off one tooth and it was enough to hold the valves open so it couldn't get compression and it did the same thing. This was a z6 head on a b7 bottom. If you've checked....check again. I tried my dizzy also, though it was 180* out and kept coming back to timing issue...
