I have a Magneflow 2.5'' 4x9 oval that is identical to the ES in EVERY WAY! I went with the Magnaflow because it was less expensive and not as shiny and even more OEM looking than the ES. I also added a Magnaflow 14'' resonator, 2.5'' Magnaflow mandrel piping hooked up to a Carsound cat and JDM header. It sounds very deep mellow and basey(is that a word?) Anyway IMO it is not as quiet as everyone makes it out to be, a cop with a tuned set of ears could still easily bust you. I use to have the ES and it sounds identical to the Magnaflow..since all the specs are basically the same. . Don't expect to slap this on and sound stock because you won't. But considering that it is a 2.5all the way through it is the quietest your going to find, except maybe the oem ctr exhaust

Thanks

I'm real happy with the ES myself... I wouldn't chnage it.

The resonator used is going to have a lot to do with how it sounds.

Hehe, we can really tell you are from Jersey. Very nice sound! I should have the 3" version of the oval on my ride in a couple of weeks. I hope it sounds as good as yours.

They are stainless but not the greatest looking finish... I have seen some come pretty crummy looking but, just give a coat of black paint and call it a day

BTW: I am from NY not NJ Now gimme your wallet!!!

its amazing to see how many people jumped on the ES band wagon after a couple of months literally.

just last year i remember when someone first put the ES muf on thier car and got flamed on here.
