ES motor mount topic
I'm swapping soon and I am already buying Place Racing poly stock replacement mounts for driver's side, tranny side, and rear. The Energy Suspension m.m. inserts usually only come in kit form, and from what I remember they are for the right and left front lower mounts and the rear, correct? Should I bother with replacing the front two, or will it be overkill and make my car vibrate like a ****?
Here is a diagram:
Would the inserts be for #8, 9, and 3? Thanks

OH I'd have to disagree on that one... I've only had them in for a couple weeks or so and it's GREAT when your on the throttle but my idle is REDICULOUS. I have to shut of my car at the drive through or if I'm waiting for someone that or I have to rev the engine up to 1-1.5k otherwise it's ruff as hell.
My front driver side was shot on one side though so I'm gunna replace it with a stocker and put the inserts back in on the new on and see how it is.

I've been running polyurethane mounts. I've noticed significant vibration, but i'm completely gutted. Make sure you put the rear mount in. That's the most important mount (I'd say). I'd also would recommend NOT buying the Place racing mounts. I used a place racing mount on my friend auto to manual conversion, I was not impressed to say the least. HASport is what I just ordered. The billet aluminum with the drag rear mount. $375 for the 3 mounts whole thing from a local shop. I'm running the ES front insert for the front lower mounts. Check with Prothane to see if they make inserts for those front two mounts. Prothane stuff is much stiffer from what I've noticed and I like their quality better. I'm running ES, but I'd rather have prothane. They didn't make the inserts last time I contacted them that's why I'm running ES front lower inserts.
Stay away from Place racing though. I'm not a fan of their products at all.
