Default Engines

Hey guys, well im trying to do an engine swap on my 93 del sol and im tryin to get advise on the best engines. I all ready read the engine swap thread and all the other stickys just wanted to get a more personal answer.
Well like i said i got a 93 del Sol and i want to run with the mustang GT's. Around here everyone seems to have one of those so i want to be able to keep up and maybe even smoke them. I dont want to go for a real expensive route either what do you guys think? I know its possible but, what engines shoud i use? A GSR engine, how much woud that run me, or keep mine and rebuild it and turbo it, B16 , B18 ????? what do you guys thinks all advise is very apreciated. Thanks.
