engine swap wierd turn over??

Default engine swap wierd turn over??

i just swaped in a d16z6 and we go to turn it over and its starts to crank over and then it stops like something is stoping it from countinuing to turn over. you think my starter is pooched ot something??? please help

it was doing this at first so we waited a few min tryed again had the car started for like 1 min then turned it off. to check over somethings goto turn it over again starts doing it again.

maybe grounds?? any clue

Yeah, you might have a loose transmission ground connection. Also check the two wires attached to the starter. Then check the safety starter switch at the top of the clutch pedal. Also consider the ignition switch.

That's a really important ground but I don't think it's needed for the starter motor to work.

this is tru, but if its not connected the car wont run at all, or if loosely then maybe a problem like this guys
