Engine swap question help!

Default Engine swap question help!

I just swap my 00 EX for a 97 ctr motor, i was running a OBD II B GSR ecu and motor ran fine, I got my jumper harness for the type r ecu but now car has problems starting. It would start and struggle a little than die. I continue to start it, it will do the same thing, until finally it stays alive. What is wrong can any one help

you got a jumper harness to run an obd1 typeR ecu?

there is no OBD-I ITR. they first came out in 96 which is when honda made there cars OBD-II

No I got a jumper harness to run a OBD 2A. My car originally have OBD 2B
