Learn how to search and do a ****-ton of it. There is seriously so much useful info on HT it will blow your mind. To get you started, learn about onboard diagnostics on honda (obd0,1,2a,2b) and what is required to have a functional system. Use the search feature on the top right of the screen and find out which obd the gsr motor is (depending on the year of the car it came from), and which obd your civic is. Besides that, there are other miscellaneous things for that motor to function properly in your car. The second link posted by B_series_ is for an obd1 civic (which yours is not), but it will give you a good idea of what to look for. Welcome to HT!
