Default engine surging under acceleration

i just swapped a d15b7 into my cx. i had the stock motor in it before the swap. I just got a longblock, tranny, and ecu from the wrecking yard. I swapped over all of my old parts; intake manifold, exhaust, etc.. When i accelerate, it kind of bogs out if i keep the throttle at 50%. I was wondering if the smaller intake of the cx, would have any effect with the acceleration.

when you swapped your intake manifold on, did you reuse the gasket? did you clean the surfaces correctly? also, did you change to new plugs, wires, etc....?

yeah, i did all of that. I was just wondering if the smaller intake would cause any of the surging.

isnt there a difference between the CX O2 sensor and the B7 O2 sensor? i think the CX motor is either a 5 wire or 1 wire O2 and the B7 has a 4 wire.. check that.. that may have something to do with it.. are you throwing codes?

yeah, the o2 sensor is a 4 wire on the b7, but i don't think that will cause it. it'll just throw codes.

it may have something to do with it.. i dont really have much experiece with that so i wouldnt be able to help you there.. check your wiring..

maybe your injectors are clogged.. try cleaning them and try sea foaming.. there just might be build up in there.. maybe you should try getting a n EX intake manifold and throttle body.. it might help.

^ you can only adjust the TPS on non-US throttle bodies. the TPS is riveted on for USDM throttle bodies. JDM throttle bodies are held on with Torx screws. at idle the TPS voltage should read .5v and WOT should be 5v i believe.
