hey man, i just recently put a JDM B16 SIR motor into a 94 Si hatch. his car pulls well and he has so far run a 15.1 in the 1320, he is not a very good driver so i would estimate u could run a high 14 pretty easily. also if your hatch is a cx or ne other model beside the Si it will be faster due to less weight. he was also runnin on 15s with street tires, so with some smaller wheels u should be able to hit mid 14s. i have a b18c in my 95 coupe and my car pulls almost even with his car on the street when im on my 15s as well. i have been able to however run a 14.3 on my 13 inch steelies at the track. it is a very strong motor and i think you would be happy with it. as far as the turbo and nitrous im not sure i dont have much experience with those. hope ive helped in some way

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 96coupe »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">As long as you boost at a safe level (I think a B16 can handle 7-10psi), you won't need to upgrade internals. </TD></TR></TABLE>
WRONG boost has nothing to do with it really, boosting 10psi is different for every turbo, and boost is just mani pressure, a stock b16 with proper tunning should be able to yeild around 270hp. and i hope with a b16a you will run better then a high 14's i ran a 14.7 with a b18b at about 100 feet above see level. but you i would say 14.3 if you can drive and the track is at a good elevation

I ran mid 14's all day in my 92VX on 16" street tires with a 50 shot and no VAFC tuning( and I cant drive for shet) , a b16 in a HB is a joy to drive , got myself a complete turbo kit now just sitting in the garage awaiting hondata and dyno time, drop in a b16 and boost!!!!!!!!!

Re: (ironchef25)
If you're looking at throwing on like a Drag turbo kit, it really isn't that large of a turbo, so you will not have to build the internetals. I had a friend with a 92 hatch, b16, and drag turbo kit, that raun 8-10psi all day long with no problems.

Stockish B16A swaps in hatches run high 14's usually. It really depends on which hatch you get too, because a 2300lb. Si hatch won't run as quickly as a 2100lb. Cx/Vx/Dx.
There is a guy with a B16A in here (nsxmatt I think?) that actually hit 13.9 with his B16A on radials - ******* impressive! Not nearly the normal, but more of an example of the best case scenario IMO.
Worst case scenario is you get the heaviest 1994 Si hatch with ABS and turn mid 15's like some people have done before.
Again most run in the mid (CX/VX/DX) 14's to high 14's depending on trim level.
