engine starts revving
This just started a couple days ago...when I first start up my car...the car rev's to about 2 grand...and stays there....then takes about 10 minutes before it idles back down to 900rpm's. Any clue on what's going on? Thanks in advance.

That would give him an erratic idle

Take that bitch, out and get some throttle body cleaner, and spray that **** inside and go crazy, It will help out the idle a lot, if you do this. If you want to be **** about it, take the intake manifold and clean that too, the car will idle like new.

Don't spray alot of cleaner into your intake manifold.
Spray the cleaner on a type of swab or cloth and wipe around.
Spraying to much into the intake manifold will result in check engine lights and your car not wanting to start until some of the cleaner evaporates.
Be careful and let us know

should be 4 nuts holding it on...take them off, unhook your intake tubing and undo your throttle cable...pull it off and use brake cleaner or some sort of highpower degreaser or something and wipe all that shiizzz down and slap it back on.

why would the ac belt make a difference?
