hey guys, my engine malfunction light just went on last night, and then the engine promptly started to choke on me. i get the same chuck at low rpm on any gear.

first i thought it was the sensor, now my buddy is telling me it may be the cylinders misfiring? does that make any sense..

can anyone tell me a diagnosis from above. I'll be taking it to the dealer tomorrow.

also with the light on, how safe am I before i do a major damage to the engine. I have to be up and early to a conference tomorrow, the timing is just ******* great!

 

Jump the ECU and see what code its throwing.

 

check what code its throwing, but it sounds like you have a bent valve.

 

crap. how do i jump the ECU myself?
