Engine mount dilemma

Default Engine mount dilemma

Hey i recieved my jdm d15b from HMO. Well after inspection i got an at trans one. Thats fine i guess, but the engine mount is different from my d16z6. So my question is what engine mount do i use?

D16z6


d15b


or can i just switch them.

yup..just switch em! It's like two bolts behind the timing belt cover.

thats weird... the top mount looks like a b series..(gsr type mount) how come thats like that?

I took the the two bolts off the it wont come off. I even took a hammer to it w/ the bolts out. Is it part of the block or somting?

no it is not part of the block. If you took the cover off there are two bolts to the block

your d16z6 is a 94-5 specs, while the d15b is a 92-3 specs. either way switch them or get the actual mount for the motor.

try getting a d series timing side fron mount for a 92-95 civic that came with a d series motor.
