Engine light on my 1993 civic is on, it does not flash. I trying to diagnoses the problem by jumping the ports on the passenger's to see if the engine light flashes some codes. The engine light was still solid. Any recommendations to try next? I followed youtube videos to do this. i'm sure i connected the right ports.

it runs fine, no problem. i only noticed the engine light when i put in new LED lights in the dash cluster. And now i'm trying to figure out what this engine light is all about

Replace cluster CEL LED with original incandescent bulb. Should be fine again.
