I'm trying to get some pistons for my N/A LS/VTEC, so I've decided to go with the Endyn pistons but I've had my block overbored .25 from stock
So I think I need to order this

81.5 mm 11.51-12.18:1 21.0 mm 302/81 gm

The one I would get if I didn't have my block done would be

81.0 mm 11.40-12.06:1 21.0 mm 282/81 gm

B16 head
B18A1 Block

Can someone confirm this for me? and maybe someone throw me a price I might expect for buying these?

PR3 pistons would get you about 11.3 in a B18. That's my choice.

I did consider those, but I was also thinking for p30 that would put me up around 11.8:1 I'm still trying to figure out what would be good for my lsv setup. I've got most of the bottom end built up but the head is pretty much stock. including the injectors, but I plan on having a hondata s100 on my p28. In florida I have no problem finding gas stations that run 93 octane, but I also need to consider what happens if I get screwed by the gas staton mixing regular and premium. If that happeens then my 12.5:1 would prob melt the pistons. I was thinking 11.8:1 would be able to take it if needed without me having to drain the gas. My biggest problem is picking the right piston for my setup. This is my first motor build so I'm very open to suggestions of experienced motor builders.

endyn have pistons designed for LSVTEC set ups, Honda do not.

call endynand talk to them about your needs and they can recommend the best piston for youo based oon their experience with their pistons.

Well what are you building the engine for, boost,NA, etc? Do you need forged piston's?

Hondata S100 in a p28 ECU

I’m still trying to figure out what kind of pistons to get. Based on what I have what is the highest Compresson Ratio on the Endyn wave pistons do you recommend considering It’s easy to get 93 octane around here but some times might need to gas a little on 92. I want this engine to be N/A but Wasn’t sure if taking it to 12.5:1 without a better fuel delivery system would be the correct thing to do. This will also be a daily driver.

Second, if I use the Endyn pistons would I still consider putting in the Oil squirters under the cylinders? Or you don’t believe it would be necessary?

I’m running near the end of my budget and time required to get this built, So I don’t have time to do the fuel upgrade yet. But I just need the thing running.

Jeff,
If you really want to be safe, our mid-dome pistons would probably be the best bet...meaning that you could still get on it running 91-92 octane without fear of detonation.
We only make pistons in .5mm increments, as good pistons are only available in these sizes. So we have 81.0mm, 81.5mm, 82.0mm, etc.
81.5mm is .020" oversize while your current combination is .010" oversize.
Do you know what your combustion chambers are CC'd at, or can you tell me if the chambers have been reworked, and or, if the head's been milled?
At any rate, our forged pistons are much stronger than cast pistons and they're able to survive at much higher temperatures, making oil squirters un-necessary in almost every application...unless you're running at wide open throttle in high gear for 20 mile stretches....then you need squirters.
If your chambers are stock size, our mid-dome pistons will put your CR at 11.93-1 if we use a 1.185 compression height to eliminate the necessity of decking the block.
