NORCAL EMISSIONS!!!
Looking for help/ input on getting my 00si Turbo smog cheched in Northern California.
I dont know how to pass the visual inspection cuz theyre gonna see a huge shiny wastegate and a .57 trim turbo right off the bat.
If you are a NorCal smog tech or know someone that can help me out i will be very appreciative. Money is no object for me as i need tags!!! This is gonna be my Daily Driver! Thanks

Re: (riceburnerryan)
i searched and found one thread bout guys that passed smog with turbo but
they didnt mention the visual inspection part.
i just talked to a smog tech in Cali and he said the visual part is where i would fail... im pretty sure i can get by the sniffer with some minor adjustments and a cat.
still i need to talk to someone that knows people in the norcal area that can help me out.

Re: (97spooncivic)
Very good point. but....
I am concerned with reverting the ECU back to stock. and i have bigger DSM 450s installed with an inline pump. I dont know if its safe to just plain and simply unplug my Hondata and the ECU is OBD2 converted to OBD1.
I think it would be less of a hassle to just find the right people to help me out.
