emergency light - does not come on without holding it

^ dimmer switch problem?
daytime light ( 1st click ) the light does not turn on. a fuse blows everytime i turn it on after replacing it. would the problem be from the wiring?

Re: electrical problem (mr.EGg)
sounds like a wire is shorting out. sounds like a loose wire touching metal which would cause a short thus having the fuse blow. what rated amp fuse is blowing, 10A?
have you done any recent electrical mods?

Re: (mr.EGg)
Its possible that when replacing the dash a wire is loose grounding out causing the short and blowing the fuse. crawl under that cramped area of a dash and look for loose wires. this happened to me when i installed my cd deck, i realized a wires sheilding was cut open during install and touching metal causing the short. i fixed that open wire and havent had a problem since.

checked the radio, wasnt that.
could there be anything else? are there any wires behind the dash that is related to the tailights and what not?
