ELD code 20, sporadic idle! Running in circles!
I've searched and got a few ideas, some things have improved but core problem still exists.
99 Civic with b20 swap, obd1 converted on stock ls ecu, has a vafc all settings stock just there for tach.
Has a sporadic idle after warm up would surge from 1200 to 400 and finally die if you let it sit. New iacv, new cap and rotor, still had problem. Throttle body had been messed with so I put a new one on completely stock settings of an ls and set my throttle cabe a little tighter, still had sporadic idle but wouldnt die.
Drove it home starts sputtering bad, no speedo, and throws code 20 and 41, and blown fuse 15 under dash. Checked manual and HT, replaced fuse and new fuse box, new o2 sensor, reset ecu. Codes are gone and doesnt sputter although weird idle still exists.
Now it sits up around 1000 rpm drops to 500 and gradually raises back up. Only other thing I can think of is my alternator is going bad (checking today). Some one said to change ignition coil, not sure about that one.
Any ideas are much appreciated, if I had a beater I'd rip the whole car apart and rebuild. Thanks!

Any ideas guys, checked alternator yesterday and nothing wrong there. Have noticed that headlights will switch from dimmer to slightly more bright even when throttle is not applied.
