ek suspension to eg6
Hey I have a jdm Tien setup on my eg6 (real) and it sucks. Honestly, people praise Tien but mine have blown and they were never very good anyway. Found a nice deal on a used koni yellow/neuspeed setup, would like to grab it. Problem is its for EKs. I know this can work but not sure of the mods required. Also, EG6 control arms are different than that of normal EGs. I can easliy get normal rear LCAs but don't know if this is all I would have to do. Input appreciated.

hey out there I know rear ek shock forks are bigger than eg but there has to be an answer. I have come to believe that jdm eg lcas are the same as ITR, so, what happens when you use ek shocks with an itr?

you would need to get different rear LCA's if you want to use that particular set-up, if thats what you want to do i'd use blox rear LCA's they are around $120 shipped and come in a variety of colors.

Sure they will. I have a set of Function Form Type 2 coilovers that came off a 94 coupe and they're on my 98.
The thing with EK suspension is the bottom of the shocks is narrower than those on EG's. I'm not sure if you can swap the LCA's from an EK chassis to an EG chassis. If you can, then everything will swap over fine.
