Same size as the other rear disc brakes.

The EK hatch LCA will bolt up to the 90-93 Teg trailing arm with no problem.

<FONT SIZE="+5">Yes.</FONT>

Please search and read the FAQs next time. This is one of the most frequently asked questions on this board. You'd have gotten a correct answer faster with a search, rather than waiting for all of these idiots to respond with misleading information.

Wrong.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Eran &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I wasn't aware the LCA's bolted right up.</TD></TR></TABLE>
LCAs have nothing to do with a rear disc conversion.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by vtec_avenue &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">yeah, but it's the fact that it's coming of the 90 - 93 integra so that's why it worries me.....</TD></TR></TABLE>
There is nothing to worry about. It works. The only difference is that the trailing arm bushing diameter for '90-93 Integras is larger, which will only matter if you're replacing the TA bushings.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by pdiggitydogg &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">lca's arent swapped when doing the brake swap
just the compensator, toe, and trailing arms</TD></TR></TABLE>
NEVER EVER swap the compensator (toe) arm when doing a brake conversion. You MUST re-use the compensator arm that is specific to your chassis.

Trailing arms don't necessarily need to be swapped either. The disc hub assemblies will unbolt from the arms and interchange. Most people swap the entire trailing arms because they think it is easier or they don't have the proper tools to unbolt the hubs.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by v8killa91 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">make it easyer on your self and get the 99-00 civic si brakes it a direct bolt up</TD></TR></TABLE>
That's not making it easier - that's making it harder to find and more expensive. The DA brakes are a direct bolt-up as well, minus the e-brake cables. Why? Because they're the exact same brakes.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by cbmprelude &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">really what size are the brakes on the back of a DA? </TD></TR></TABLE>
They are the ubiquitous 9.5" solid rotors with 7CLP13S floating calipers that came on every double-wishbone Civic, CRX, del Sol, and Integra with rear disc brakes (except Type-R models).

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by SiRek4 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">i dont think it does, im pretty sure it has to be an Si or Dc rear disc setup.</TD></TR></TABLE>
You're wrong.

Basicly all 90-0? teg rear trailing arms and civic trailing arms are interchangable. The only differences in civic/teg rear suspensions are (as covered seperately in other posts, but more added/condensed):

trailing arm large bushing size (90-93 teg bushing is larger, others the same)

ek lca's longer while ef/eg/dc/da arms are the same length (inner bolt hole to outter bolt hole)

tegs have larger inner/outer bushings on lca's

da has shocks mounted farther out on the lca

tegs usually have sway mount holes while civics dont

compensator arm/uca (upper arm) are not interchangable, but the trailing arm from civic/teg will work on any other civic/teg with that car's comp arm & uca.

Sometimes people will just unbolt the rear hubs and swap them, but rarely is that a good idea, since the bolts are hard to access, easy to strip, and torqued very tightly.
