EK Plug Identification...
Good morning all,
I was looking things over in my diagrams last night and i cant figure out what this plug goes to. I have taken my entire dash apart to re-do my interior. This plug is located by the main fuse box underneath the dashboard. It is wired into the main harness that also connects into your cluster. Pics show better than i can explain. I was thinking maybe a plug for PS? i dont have PS anymore which could be a reason i dont remember unplugging it, becuase it would have already been unplugged. Any help is greatly appreciated.
TIA
HERE IS THE PLUG
HERE IS THE END OF THE HARNESS IT IS ON....
SHOWING THE LINE RUNNING DOWN FROM THE CLUSTER....MY HAND IS ON THE LINE FOLLOWING IT DOWN......
Thanks again guys...

Re: EK Plug Identification...
thats what i initially thought. But i grabbed my dimmer switch and it didnt look like they would fit together. Wires are at garage, dimmer is at home. It looked like the clip portion at the top wouldnt fit...idk gotta check it out....other than this wire i believe i remember where all the plugs go...plus if i dont, each plug is so different, it could only really og in one spot.
any other ideas in case thats not it?

Re: EK Plug Identification...
It looks like it goes to some sort of backlit switch, because it has two positive wires and a ground. The ground is to ground the backlight, and then the positive wires are simply the circuit the switch is interrupting.
I could be wrong, but upon second glance this is what it looks like.
It could still be the dimmer switch, if that is backlit in your car (IDK if it is or not, i've never driven an EK).
