Re: EK itr swap price
too much money -- search online or ebay for a swap -- and then pick up a helms and o the the work yourself.
it's a straight drop in swap - all you need is an ex harness and your set
you'd probably save yourself atleast 2 grand if you did the work yourself

Re: EK itr swap price (EK9Rider)
Yep, just buy the swap from hmotors or in the marketplace and get a helms.
But for $5000 I'd rather have 30 more hp and 30 more torque and still have enough money left over for a set of volk wheels.
Yes, I'm whoring out the h2b agian,

Word.
The type-r motor is expensive because:
1) it's a good, strong n/a motor and a lot of n/a lovers want them
2) Red valve cover
3) involves the phrase "Type-r"
4) it's very reliable and can be beat on regularly.

Re: EK itr swap price (ek forever guy)
no becuase the itr valvetrain is superior, it comes with imho the best factory intake manifold and piston setup for all motor, a reworked san cast factory smoothed and blue printed block and pr3 head
mechanically it is the factory tuner of all b series block compared to the average everyday type ****, but when you break it down you can do all of this and 1 step further on a rebuild including sanding and reworking all the oil gallaries, knige edging the crank, gasket matching or further honing and clearing of the ports, cleaning up the rough casting ports in the bottom of the block, but im no n/a guy my self i prefer the spinning exhaust whistle myself

Re: EK itr swap price (Team RS2)
i really dont mind paying the 7g's for the swap. i just want to know if it is too much for what im getting.
I don't want to build the motor I just want to be fast and not worry about having to fix it everyother day or rebuild the motor since I don't have the time to do it.
cuz i could get a ctr or gsr for 6g's or a b16 for 5g's with the same upgrades.
I just don't want to pay more than i have to ...
thank you for you're help guy's

yea i know how you feel bro, good choice with the ITR motor, but you are paying way too much for the motor bro. I say search more and have the motor shipped to your house. then have a local shop install it bro. A install is usually $500 or so.

Re: EK itr swap price (bmoua)
Go in the classifieds for your area and i bet theres someone near you who is knowledgable and will do the swap for like 500 bucks labor. Buy the motor and parts for the 4-5k and you still saved yourself a couple grand.
