Ek Hatch Projects
I Purchased this Honda about 4-5 months ago from boca raton florida i live a little further north it is a 1997 civic hatch dx all stock 96,000 miles with orginal motor still with vin# car runs great i am starting to piece things together here is a pick of it when i first got it and now interior pics soon....
Here with the Type R grill and lip also got the type R on rear exhaust and wing on the way......

yeah i figured if im gunna go cheap i might as well do the little things ive got a greddy sp exhaust on the way and a spoon wing about to put new driver axle and drilled and slotted rotors tomorrow .. so more pics tomorrow

Yes, drilled/slotted is for curb appeal. You actually lose brake performance by using the "fancy rotors"
Slots and holes remove mass and surface area. Think about it.
The only positive is you get a more aggressive bite on the pads. Not worth it when you consider the potential for cracking, warping, and uneven pad wear.
Edit: Get brembo blanks, they're like $70 for a front pair.
