Default Ek getting a interior makeover. Help!

And you're all the makeoverists I have hired.

I'm looking to install navigation into my EK... OEM prefered. Will the 06-10 work or am i stuck using the 96-00?

Also, is it possible to do a push start similar to the the Nissan Altima? I don't want to have to use a key at all!

Also - does anyone have write ups of installing seat aftermarket seat warmers into an ek, I've seen it in an EG, but can't remember where i saw the thread.

if im not mistaken, the s2k wheel will work, no problem. as far as clusters, i have no clue. s2k clusters are popular, but require some work. wiring mostly i think. side air bags? i dont think so. that'll be costume for sure.

get s2k seats, steering wheel and the cluster. top that off with red carpet and you should be done dolla.

i got s2k seats and cluster already but a quick release steering, otherwise i would rock the steering too. no pics my car is under construction

ap1 has a single stage airbag and is plug and play with minor adjustments to get cruise control to work. ap2 is a dual stage along with the usdm ep3 wheels and you'll have to do some research if you want to be safe with that whole situation. JDM ep3 is plug and play.

s2k seats are amazing but I don't know if they come with seat warmers and I wouldn't feel comfortable paying that much for seats to try and yank of the upholstery to experiment with seat warmers and putting it back on. Leather can look sketchy if you don't know how to put it on right.

s2k cluster looks really cool, takes alot of work. ep3 will be a little bit easier, and will require less filler and bezel mods to get it to fit. rsx cluster...never seen one in an ek, if you do it, make a write-up I'd like to see it.

I'm getting Recaro seats eventually. So i probably won't do seat warmers. But i have seen them in GSR leathers, aftermarket warmers, and they worked nice.

I was gonna go with a CTR cluster but i want different.
Rsx/Ep3 cluster is where I'm leaning... s2k takes too much work.

Ap1 Airbag looks like the best bet, and i dont have cruise control.
Does anyone have pics of these installed... I looked on google but found mainly ap1/ap2. And asian women leaning on sexy cars.

The 96-00 navigation is trash. It's a cool rare item I suppose but the work required to put it in isn't worth it IMHO.

This is my carpc...if you changed the DC background to something honda or something it would look pretty much OEM.

Factory navigation is definitely trash. Go with an aftermarket unit or car PC if you actually want the right directions

Probably gonna go with Car Pc. What about the push start button with no key needed to drive ?

PM me if you have any questions about the CarPC stuff.

For the push button start...there's a write-up somewhere, the guy had two switches and the push button start. I'm not sure how this works with the steering wheel lock or anything, and this is definitely a crap situation for car security.
