If the suspension is from an "EG" then it will fit on an EK with washers/spacers. The EG/DC rear shock fork is wider than the EK.

I have the "EG/EK" Tokico Illumina shocks on my 97 Civic and it came with two spacers for each shock to put between the LCA bushing and the inside of the shock fork.

Long story short:

EG -> EK = work
EK -> EG = not work

It'll ALL fit fine on an EK, the fronts will bolt right up, no problems. The rears just need spacers (a pack of washers is like $1.50 at Home Depot).

i just did this couple months ago.

took my crx coilovers adn put them on my EK

fronts fit fine

rears you need i think 10mm of spacers.

i ended up going to Lowes and getting 12 spacers 3 on each side of the bolt and it fits perfectly.

EK looks really nice - i say its a good trade, especially since you're gonna get cash too. little bit of money to mod it. and imo the EK hatch looks better than the EGs do.

good luck
