EK Cluster In EG Issues

EK Cluster In EG Issues
I have a 95 D16a Eg
Ok, the problem is when I converted the Ek cluster into the Eg the speedometer dont work. I know, I know search. I did that a million times. Before I put the Ek cluster in, everything was working on the Eg cluster. Now when I put the Ek cluster in the speedometer dont work and now I have a check engine light for Vss. I checked the wires, vss, cluster, grounds, plug connectors, and fuses. They all are fine. . Because I put the vss in another civic and it works. I put the Ek cluster in another civic and it works. Everything on the Ek cluster works expect the speedo. I was wondering do I need a 96-00 speed sensor the whole thing that goes inside the transmission?
