Default ek center consel question

i have a 96 ek and want to convert the center climate control to 99ek. i here that if i do that , the fan control will only work either on low or full blast. nothing in between. is this true? please reply @ tpforyourbunghole@hotmail.com thank you

ok do you know what is involved with this swap? I think there was a rather extensive post on DIY.

It involves removing your entire dash and what not. Then replacing the heater core and vents. I know there is more involved but i cant remember right now. Anyway you know that the 96-98 is cable operated and the 99-00 is electronicly controlled?

as mentioned.. there is an extensive diy thread on how this is done
it is cable to electronic conversion.. so you have to change the whole thing.. not just the control panel..
imo.. it doesnt really worth the time and money..
