EK BRAKE GURU'S....I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!!!!
This is somewhat of an emergency, I've searched but have found nothing for Ek's on this question...
I have a 96 EK that I swapped 97 GSR front brake assembly on to last night. The problem I'm running into is that the GSR brake lines are at least six inches too long! I tried running them different ways with different mounting points but just about every way I tried the line ended up getting pinched somehow when I let the car down off the lift. Is there a different brake line I need to use for the application or should I have used the stock DX lines even though they're a bit short? ANY help at this point would be GREATLY appreciated...I HAVE to fix this TONIGHT before I go out of town! I SWEAR I will send you a beer of your choice to the person that helps me!!! LOL.

I believe 99-00 Si brake lines should do the trick! 
Not sure on what beer I want, check back with me in a few minutes...
Also, if you would like you can measure your GSR lines, and your stock lines, and I'll go out to my car and measure my Earl's SS lines I just got the other day and you can compare the lengths, that way you'll know for sure!

I actually bought the brake assembly from IAS and Randy is measuring everything for me as we speak to see if he can send me the correct lines if they exist. I'm actually in my office so me doing anything with it right this second is impossible...HOWEVER, if you feel the Si lines are BETTER if not BEST for this then I will damn sure take your opinion...you just choose that beer....! Randy at IAS just called and said he's overnighting me some Si brake lines...I will def back you guys up that they're THE ****.

I just got the front...it was off of a 97 GSR if I didn't mention that...umm...$142 shipped. The install was quite easy, not a hell of a lot to it (with the exception of this brake line BS but this is just trial and error). Not only does the front end look better...but the bigger brakes feel SO much more solid.

Hey, how well does the GSR setup work on an Ek anyway? Do the knuckles and all that fit properly, without messing up anything with the suspension?
