EJ6 four-door exhaust question
I am looking for a new exhaust for my 98 civic four door. I have a Vibrant Perfoemance Type V rear section and I have grown out of the "that is SOo much FAstER" phase...because rear sections add like 50 horsepower..lol So needless to say I want a high-quality exhaust and and kind of stuck. A few of the ones I have been thinking about have been the Spoon N1, Buddy Club Pro Spec, RS*R GT2. I know they are all very high quality exhausts and money is not an issue right now. I would like to know if there are any four door guys out there running these exhausts and is so what do you think? Fitment, sound, etc. Thanks!

Here's a trust/greddy on a 97 sedan. U may want to consider one of these because its quiet and wont attract cops. I Wish i could have found a retailer that could have got me an RSR instead, so it looks like stock and its even quieter than trust. Fitment is perfect, an easy bolt on. Exhaust note is low to mid tone.

I love that wing. Is it the actual Mugen or a knock-off? As far as the RSR exhaust goes, im looking for the GT2, the one that is "the straightest possible route". You were probably thinking of the Ex-Mag which looks like your trust exhaust.

i got it off some ricer who wanted a WW three piece wing instead of this. It was already sprayed my color, and I painted the mounts black so it looks like it "floats" at night. got it for $50, cant complain. Probably a knock off. I cant imagine spending the 800 on the real one.

Bump... Anyone have the RSR gt2 on their 96-00 civic? Preferrably on a 4dr... I am really considering the GT2 or the Tanabe racing medallion. Any feedback would be awesome. I have searched and have a few clips from jdmlyfestyle.
P.S. I need to know if the RS*R will fit on my four-door. It is listed under coupe but im not sure if the piping is the same length or not?

Anyone know if the exhausts listed under 2dr EX or 96-00 coupe will fit 96-00 sedans? Im not sure if the piping is the same or not... I know the rear sections are the same, but i dont know how the mid-pipe will fit if at all?

ya they are the exact same size...the mid pipe and axcle back. i have the tanabe super hyper racing medallion on my car..98 honda civic si (canadian version)..sounds really nice not very loud but nice tone...but i know for a fact that the sizes are the same 2 or 4 door

Re: (civic_si_rob)
If the 96-00 is a DX or LX trim, the EX or SI exhaust systems will not work unless u make a conecting pipe from the end of the b pipe to the header. The difference with the DX-LX trim for 96-00 is that the header IS the cat (which is in the engine bay) so the exhaust system is not the same as the EX or SI. The EX/SI has the cat AFTER the header and so the b-pipe is shorter when compared to the DX/LX.
Let me sum it up:
I have an LX. My setup is a DC 4-1 header for civic EX, a Trust/GReddy exhaust system for civic EX, and a Custom made cat that mimics that of the civic EX.
92-95 civics EX, DX, LX coupes and sedans only can all intechange exhaust systems.
96-00 civic EX and SI can use the 92-95 civic exhausts as well.
96-00 civic DX/LX can also use these exhausts, however u must make a pipe extension, or make a new cat like i did above.

View the link in my signature. But to sum it all up, coupe exhaust fits the sedan. I have the Spoon N1 on my EJ8 sedan and love it----subdued look (2.5" tip ) but awesome sound. I'm only using the axle-back portion with stock B-pipe; I was going to have a custom B-pipe fabbed, but it's loud enough as is. The fitment is absolutely perfect and installs easily with handtools. Check out my webpage for some pics. I also made a thread awhile back in the A/C section. I'm selling it soon if you're interested. As of last night, I upgraded from my Civic to a "new" '98 GSR. Yay for me!

Does this mean that a stock '99-'00 SI coupe exhaust will fit my '95 LX sedan w/ B16A?
Thanks
