Default Egged car, what to do?

I come out of school to my car and there are eggs all over it. I go immediately to the carwash, and after I come out, there is a softball sized oddly shaped circle of faded paint. It stripped the clear coat, and took off some layers of paint. It makes my car look like ****. It's all glossy in one place, and then dull and unmatched in another, and I'm worried it will become bigger and rust.

What the hell do I do?

I have full coverage but 500.00 deductable...

the quarter panel should probably be painted again, but since you took off some layers of paint you might need to add another layer to the whole car.

Yeah, you come down to KU or Lawrence?

Anyway, the layer of paint was only on the quarter panel, not on the whole car. So why would I have to add a layer to that???

DAMN KIDS that disrespected my car because I did something right and made my car look decent, unlike the ricey ugly slow cars they drive.

Well if you hadn't done what you did (sorry to hear that this happened, my moms car got egged when I took it to HS one time. Fucked up people) I would suggest try using a clay bar. BUT, since you think you took off some layers of paint. Your best bet would to just have it repainted. And a little tip, don't use maaco. The paint looks good right after it's done, but after time it starts to look like ****. Get it done right the first time. You won't regret it.

What do you mean what I did? I didn't take the layers off, it came off because of the egg/washing it. I was taught to wash it right after it happened. I'm so pissed. I found out I have a 250 deductable, but I totalled my MazdaSpeed protege, and my insurance would be skyhigh, or maybe even drop me if I got a new paintjob. Maybe I should just do the quarter panel.

I still need more opinons.

Sorry I misread what you wrote. I wasn't suggesting that you get the whole car painted, just the quarter panel. It shouldn't be to much.

Hate crimes. haha Dude, its just egg.

How long did the egg sit on your car?
It must have sat for a week or so, to ruin your paint like that.

My flatblack(no clear coat) car got egged and sat for a day and a half.
I simply washed it off. No chipping or pealing paint. Not even any marks.

Paint your car. Next time you go to the place where you got egged, put a car cover to protect your baby. There's alot of haters, be careful!

@ school everyday? lol...if they wanted, they'd take it off and do it but you're right, it would take more time therefore increasing their chances of getting caught. Good Idea.

thanks to everyone, still don't know what to do exactly...

I had my car egged with one week old paint and it sat for a whole day over the summer heat...when i did wash it the egg was pretty much stuck right on and I had to apply lots of elbow grease to get it all off but my paint or clear coat had no damage what so ever.

First thing you need to do is egg some car's back. Drill some holes on the egg and put brake fluid or aircraft remover inside.

I just realized an egg alone could not do this damage. Maybe they injected a corrosive in the egg, or sprayed it on. I am thourougly pissed. Maybe my hood will have damage so I can get a CF hood.

just tryin to look on the bright side. If I knew who it was, I would beat some Friggin ***..
