R you serious

anyone with it, how do you bolt down the rear seat? i totaly forgot how. when i took mine out, theres two bolts on each side and it apears that they fell down into the subframe.. anyone have anyclue what im talking about? post pics later...

well i didnt bolt down my seats and it fit in perfect and doesnt move and i just put it in the bolt that connects to the seats to the frame and it came out good (lets hope no one flys out the window) haha

I assume you got the metal arm things in the holes.

To bolt the seat down there is a little metal hoop on the back/bottom of the seat. You bolt that down to the body and you're done.

I can't manage to get my bolt in but my cushion sits fine and is very convenient to remove for autocrosses.

are you talking about jdm or usdm seats?

im talkin bout the jdm seats. in the middle of the seats,theres 2 loops i just place the metal loop into the seat and it fitted perfectly

Here are pictures of the hard parts of installing/converting the USDM, CDM "Canada", Africa, UK interior into a EG1, EG2, EG3, EG4, EG6 Japanese Domestic Market Interior (JDM). eMail me with any questions or call me at 1 (949) 280-1276 24/7 so wake me up, Im at PST or Geometric Time of -8:00.

I use a chizel and hammer to pop the spot welds on the brackets that need removing. Fairly clean job. Check it out. (Goto the bottom for my free 1992, 1993, 1994, and 1995 all model Repair Manual for Honda Civics "Not EG's") I will buy a EG repair manual on cd if anyone will sell it to me. Name a big price if you want.
My 1993 Canada Domestic Market Honda Civic DX 3 Door with Phanton Grey Pearl Exterior and light grey interior.

My Japan Domestic Market EG4 Interior purchased from eBay for $380 + $110 Shiping. $100 more for residential delivery. Good having JHot Exports arround!


Here are the peices that you will be working with alot.
First is the bar that locks the trunk box and allows more wieght to be placed on top.
This will have to be welded or manfactured with a bracket to be welded in place.
Here is where the EG seats bracket for the pivot/recline bar go.




First Take out the brackets from the prevous interior that are used to hold the seats on the outer edges as a pivot point. Use the tools shown and pop the spot welds. Takes 8 minutes max. Tools are a chizel and hammer.



There nice, cheep, clean, fast job.
May lose a chizzel tip in the process Can be re-shaped to new length though.
I recommend buying a trunk dome light. Acura Integra, EG's, and Civics will fit.
I buy mine for under $10 US.

For those not wanting the interior panels and seats with trunk box atleast get the gather speaker panels they make for all the other models shown at top of picture And here are other parts I have available. All this and more is for sale. I will post all the rare parts for preluds, civics, and integras if they don't delete my posts again! Maybe it is because I am a newbie. I care about my hatchback and all my vehical and me have to say is take it easy!!!

And for everyone that would like to know lot's of info about there Civic from 1992 to 1995 feel free to download my repair manual that is in PDF format. Lot's of computer generated pictures of where ABS and so on goes in a 3 door.
