Icon2 Eg turn signal problems

I have a 92 civic cx...and my left turn signal flashes quickly, while the right turn signal flashes fine. Along with the quick flashing, the left front indicator light flashes dimer than all the other lights, when i press the hazzard lights, all flash the same speed, except front left indicator light...i have already replaced bulb, socket, combination switch.....can anyone give me some diagnostic advice?

If it flashes quickly you have an element burnt out in one of the bulbs. Check your rear turn signal.

New bulb in rear...i believe it flashes quickly due to it sensing resistance

What voltage to body ground do you measure for the hot wire at the bulb receptacle?

What resistance to body ground do you measure for the ground wire at the bulb receptacle?

The resistance of the ground is a little high, but not terrible. You could try cleaning the G301 ground connection for that ground wire.

The voltage measurements are important. What's the problem there?

How are you testing for voltage?

Is the mm set to read DCV on the 20V scale?

same thing happened to me. there's a little white box with wires coming from it in the engine bay over by the corner light. I tightened the bolt that holds the white box up and it fixed my problem. I assume thats like a ground or something but thats all it took to fix mine.

I checked the ground on both sides and they seem to be the same

The mm is to slow, it says ol, then when switch clicks on...it begins to read, then before it gives me a reading it switches to OL before it gives me a reading

I Read a wiring diagram, and the front and rear turn signals are split internally in the fuse box, then after fuse box, its a straight shot to bulb...so maybe a bad fuse box? Or wiring....?

If the bulb and both ground and voltage are fine, then the bulb receptacle must be the problem.

Is there a way to test the relay?

Why would the relay affect only one bulb in the circuit?

It doesn't work that way.

You missed a voltage or ground problem in the left front wires in your tests.

Im thinking it cant be ground cause they both ground out to the same place...and the driving lights are the sane voltage
