eg shifter on ek question
i have a after market short shifter (dont noe what brand). got if off ebay (cheap ebay items). when i took off my w2 exhaust and throw on the stock one the shifter is now grinding the the piping. and the short shifter sumthings makes the 3rd gear pop out. so one of my friends have a stock eg shifter. and i was wondering does it fit right on or do i have to do add anything for it to stay stable and not wiggle around.
also i dont want to get another aftermarket shifter. im planing to do a k20 swap soon. any help will do. thankz

Re: eg shifter on ek question
my friend had one from ebay that kept hitting his exhaust and he ended up having to buy a fidanza one for it to work right... i ran a cheap ebay one in my coupe and it did fine just broke... so i got a fidanza one too, we got em at Nopi lol.. anyways, you might have to put your stock shifter back in your car..

Re: eg shifter on ek question
the bottom part of the shifter is touching the exhaust. yea was thinking about getting another one. but sold the gsr motor and got a rsx k20. was gonna do the swap asap but kinda low on cash now. so figure i dont wanna waste money on another short shifter when imma use the rsx shifter when i do the swap. so do you guys think the eg stock shifter will fit prefect? im still running a Y8.
