EG Rim & Tyre Sizes
So I was just wondering:
Whats the biggest / widest rim you can fit on an EG (not bigger than 17) without rubbing, etc?
From what Ive read up (and this isnt concrete 'max size' info, just what is known to work) - its as follows:
17" - 205
16" - 215
15" - 225
More than that, which would hold best?
15/225's have more contact area - but they also have less rotational mass which means more power at the wheels (which isnt a bad thing ). 17/205's are thinner but bigger so more rotational mass - so possibly hold better? Everyones thoughts?

Re: EG Rim & Tyre Sizes (SupaMonkey)
If you pick up the honda tuning article 'papa needs new shoes' from july 06. youll see that a 15 is the best rim size for keeping mass to a minimum and reducing unsprung weight. Personally I am going to run 205/50 15 on my eg. unless your going super light weight 15 and 16 inh rims are your best choice. 205s rub lock to lock on my EG, but if its track only tires and rims 215 would be good w/out rolling the rims. good luck

what size rims are you going to run? IMO anything above a 205 looks stipid.... like a small drag slick and sticks out. i have worked with tires for 2 years now so i have a good idea of fitment and looks. give us a wheel size and we will give you a tire size.
