eg k20 swap
any body know how much it costs to swap a k20 motor in an eg. hybrid racing does have post clarity on the cost of the full turnkey swap, and is it worth it?i mean with the high cost and all.

I didn't erad that page yet but if I'd have to guess I'd say $10k at the least?
Also I read in another thread that the k20 weighs way less than an h22 and weighs more along the lines of a b16.
My estimate was found like this:
$6-7k for the engine
then the rest is gonna go to labor.

I'd have to say if you're goin to spend the money to really make that K-Series fly...then the swap is worth it. If you really spend the money on a K-series...you can easily put down 200+whp. I personally will wait for more K-series to come off the assembly line and go down in price. K-Series is basically like the B and H series all in one as far as numbers and amount of displacement are concerned.
