I was running the stock (non-tach) DX cluster.

I just figured out where the rev-limiter was (mph) and shifted there.

But is in KMH. I'd rather know how fast I was going. Any usdm tach will go to 8k rpm which is fine plus you'll have the speedometer in MPH.

I agree. Plus, it's so much funner when you have passengers staring at you revving 1500 past the redline on your stock gauge cluster.

I think it would be best just to get an EX cluster, since they're all over the place. As long as you and anyone who you let drive the car knows when it redlines, no big deal. You can switch out odometers.

The tach in my cluster goes to 9000 rpm's, which is good except for the fact that I don't redline until 9500 rpm's. I think it's about time for me to get an aftermarket tach. I usually watch my tach until it gets close to 9000 then take a quick glance down at my vtec controller to see when I get close to 9400-9500.

Gotta agree w/Matt on that one..I've got the jdm eg in my hatch w/gsr swap...8.2k red is proper, but kmh is a pita and tops out at like 110/115 mph translated.. I'd just grab a monsto, plus if you're building the motor/raising revs you can adjust...

On a "lighter note"...anyone have any ideas on theoretical top end/mph before my hatch gets squirrely and begins to take off? it's pretty low on coilovers and no ricer chit hangin off...spoon ducker is all i got....hehe
