your leaking gas from the header side? you sure its gas? unless that injector is leaking enough to shoot around the bay.

but even with everything hooked up right it obviously wasn't because it still shouldn't leak. regardless if it was hooked up right or not. plus thats a lot of blow by with no gas burning.

i swear it was gas i was there and i smelled it.it sounds weird but its true and thats the only place were its leaking. down the headers.the gas was in the oil because he took it out and it smelled weird and looked weird because it was mixed.but i dont know and neither does he.

well do it with the hood open and if you see gas shoot out an injector then you know its not that. but check your plugs too if gas is getting that far your not burning all or enough of it off.

his hood is off and when he tried starting it it wouldnt start but you can smell the gas and i touched the headers and it was wet and it was gas. i checked around the bay to see if there was any other place that was wet and nothing

an injector could be stuck open. The rings don't seal 100% so the gas could leak past.

lol-hwat?

so his vtec was leaking onto his headers? you need to use proper puncuation and grammar please... there's no way his headers could be soaked with gas unless it was spraying from the fuel hose or the return line and soaking the entire engine bay. when you say his header do you mean under the oil pan? like near the catalytic converter? or up by the exhaust ports on the head...

what are you talking about his vtec was leaking onto his headers.?lol. i said gas and yes its both by the ports on the head and under by the oil pan. he took of his headers for the same reason that was soaked with gas. ima go with thumper64 cause i heard it had to do with one of the injectors. im going over to his house later and ill let him know thanks alot.

his injector is stuck open and theres no way it will burn any fuel. Replace the injector and or the ecu. The fuel will leak out of any exhaust fixture that has a small leak. Dont know if its possible to hydro lock ur motor like this (guess it would depend on the fuel pump and size injectors) but id be afraid. Try unplugging that injector (whatver cylinder is flooding) and runnin it on 3 cylinders..

hydro lock thats scary.will try that later see what happens. he still has to go buy oil to so hopefully it doesnt lock after just buying the motor. that would suck

he took all the oil out and cleaned the headers well dried them with an air compresser and just left everything to dry wouldnt want it to catch on fire. and no the car doesnt start for the same reason im sure it will catch on fire or something.

take the rail out and turn it over, c which injector is stuck open. Then unplug that injector from the harness until u get a new ecu or injector or whatever u gotta do.

That's what I was wondering. No sense going around replacing ECUs for no reason.

Cause thats one of the causes for a stuck open injector...... of course i would try a known good ecu before purchasing one. I had a stuck open injector once. Happened to me before i was suppose to be at work, so I tried another injector, that didnt work, so i threw another ecu in there and still made it to work on time..

thatd be a pretty rare and specific issue. ECU's don't just freak out on one thing all the time.

still check your injectors.
