EG/EK AC compressor fitment EF Hasport AC Bracket
I bought a Hasport ef a/c bracket thinking that it mounts all d-series compressors. Stupid me I bought it without doing research. I was thinking that the only difference was r-12 and r-134a system. I noticed the 92-00 civic hasport bracket is different(not aluminum) with a spot for your lower motor mount. Anyhow I have'nt tried to test if it would fit. Does anybody know if this will mount my 96 civic ac compressor? Thanks.

the Hasport EFBAC ac bracket works in the 88-91 civic/crx and allows mounting of a 88-91 d-series compressor
the Hasport EGBAC ac bracket works in 92-00 civics and allows mounting of a 92-00 d-series compressor on a b-series block
what year is your civic? 96?
if you have a 96 civic then you would need the EGBAC ac bracket
