EG Coupe Curb weight.... :SEARCHED:
For about 2 hours now and honnestly, I havent been able to find an accurate place to get curb weights from. The very few places that I have found that actually have it listed have conflict with each other. They say that the DX and EX trims are the same and conflict with other other web sites that have actual weight listed as well.
I am looking for the curb weight for the 93-95 Civic Coupe DX and EX.
Any help would be much appriciated at this point.
Thanks.

that does not give you curb weight, only gross vehicle weight.

I believe when I dynoed my coupe, the computor program siad it was 2600 lbs. That doesn't sound right at all.

Long time ago i went to a truck weigh station and weighed my car. 93 DX coupe with stock D15B7 and a 10inch sub weighed 23xx. So that 2231 could be right.

Did you only have your front wheels on the dyno? I think they guessimate the rear end weight off the front (which is heavier then the rear). 2600 stock is not right.

- Yeah.
On the door it includes the gross weight which is all tanks full (gas, oil, etc.), ready to run, with 5 people in the car (or 4, depending on if you have a center seatbelt or not....however many people your car is intended to carry as a maximum)....and they're averaged at a certain weight, 180? I think?
Anywayz, you cannot go by the gross weight on the inside of the door jam, that's not accurate in finding your dry weight.

That's what I'm talkin about, I've been looking for a chart like that.
Dunno how accurate it is but it's like 10lbs off this guys ('95 EX):

1994 DX 2231 lbs.</TD></TR></TABLE>
So it has to be pretty close as they're both pretty close.
