EG with B18C cooling
well obviously the stock cooling stuff is not good enough for a B18C swap.
Any suggestions on radiators, fans and stuff?
Right now I'm thinking about a Spoon Street radiator or a Fluidyne one.
Would I need to get the radiator for B18C specs? or for EG specs?

Re: EG with B18C cooling (THEINTEGRATION)
sure fluidyne or something is better. i had a jdm b18c in my old coupe with the stock eg and then went to a gsr rad and the temp never changed either way. i am still using the stock eg on my b18b turbo and it NEVER runs warm.

Always used the stock Civic radiator on his swap, beat the hell out of that motor, with no cooling problems.

stock works fine for me, on the street, autoxing, and drag racing.
road racing may require a better radiator.
del Sol dual cores are nice and cheap.
Fluidynes are nice.
Integra radiators work fine too.

You can pick up a del sol dual core for less than a hundred bucks new. Could also drop like mid-high 200's on a fluidyne or pwr radiator, which are both dual core. But remember if you choose an integra radiator ur going to need to do some fab. to mount it up and you might lose a/c if you still have it.

I don't believe the 92-95 Si came in an auto tranny. The DX model is the only model that I remember that was availiable with a automatic tranny.
And I'm not sure about 92-95 si, but I know that del sol vtecs came with a dual core.
Also, the integra radiators are a fairly cheap upgrade for B series. I helped a freind and member (dohctorthrust) install his. All you have to do is, take off the bracket for AC if you have that option, then make some quick mounts to keep it from bouncing everywhere. You can use plumbers tape, and self taping screws. We used something a bit more heavy duty. Hasn't had one single problem since the install.
I'd love to have a aftermarket radiator, but haven't had the funds to get one yet. I'm still running a stock unit, turbocharged b18c1, never gets hot unless long periods of uphill climbs. Then I turn on the heater, no real complaints, but it would be nice to have that extra cooling.

Re: EG with B18C cooling (EG(6)SR)
i'm running a C&R radiator....with my b series in an eg...all you have to get is a rad for a 00 si...the half core...if not then a full core for a teg will work ( if you want the full core)
the C&R is a bit pricey, but it comes with a performance SLIM fan...the inlet and outlets are also bigger. You should also consider a performance thermostat and switch also.

Sorry, I'm thinking Canadian Si coupe. We never got the EX.

Re: EG with B18C cooling (REVHARD_EF)
2 years on the B18C with the stock civic radiator, and your good old hard runs, no problems whatsoever!
but if you insist, go ahead.

Re: EG with B18C cooling (THEINTEGRATION)
stock radiator or the oem dual core will work if you are doing drag, autox, and just street.
I found that the dualcore is just barely enough for roadracing in 90degree temps, got temps upto around 3/4s. Roadracing is longer times in higher revs and runs quite a bit hotter.
