EG 92-95 civic one piece headlights
sup guys, thanks for the input from a previous post about new light designs.
As some of you know, I am looking for input for certain designs for headlights and taillights.
well, like the title says.. my designers have done the sketches and mold prototypes for the 92-95 Civic coupe and h/b headlights. the main mold is a one piece unit but what I have questions about are the final look of it. Should we keep it a stock look, meaning, the same lamp design, or projector lamp design, or JDM type R design. thanks for any input.

Re: EG 92-95 civic one piece headlights (B_Cruz)
i'd like to post up a pic, but we cant at the moment. Its such a costly thing to do the prototypes and molds that our Co. doesnt want to release any of the ideas.
The idea of a 1 piece headlight has always been there.. but with this particular design, they are being careful about it.
I'll get some pics if they do decide on releasing it to the public. but as for now, its still in the designing stages. not 100% sure yet on final production date since performance lamps are projected to be only about less than 5% of the company's whole $100million+ lighting business. but im trying to push these since I have an EG myself hehe.

I am no economist. I also do not have a degree is business, but would it be profitable to spend
(ceiling 5 million dollars by your numbers) for the creation of headlight for a car that is at most 10 years old. i have a eg and would probabaly purchase. would it not be more profitable to make light for a newer model of car. I guess if you could explain it to me, i guess that would help out alot. i only know about computer science crap, but business information is intersting to me
thanks in advance

Re: EG 92-95 civic one piece headlights (nijia555)
the EG is just one of the project vehicle for the performance line. we also currently do performance lights for USDM, JDM and European DM cars. OEM replacements are already avail for cars such as the EP and new 2003 accords as well. So the next step is to just make the performance versions.
Its just that most of our perfromance lights are all sold out of ASIA where the factories are and we cannot stock them here in the US facilities due to the strict guidelines that we are only stocking DOT approved lights here domestically.

do them jdmITR style....i like those alot, only make the turn signal inserts AMBER, not clear, and NO BEAM PATTERNS!!! if you'd be able to fabricate these i'd ****** them up from you no questions asked! good luck with them though

I posted a topic about this a while back because i was looking for some one-piece EG headlights. I say keep them stock just connect the two pieces possibly with the corners being "vision" orange

Re: EG 92-95 civic one piece headlights (twisted_1)
My input woudl be to make them black housing but with a projector lens low beam, and a seperate highbeam. Kind of like a S4 style. This would allow the use of HIDs and still being able to keep a high beam. I would also like to see them stay in a stock shape so it requires no modification to the chassis.

o and make sure if you do use a projector style, not to use the stupid h3 bulb.
I like the idea of the jdm itr black housing style with seperate high and low beam., maybe even with a city driving light. That would be cool. Just my 2 cents.
