talk to user Maurader aka Roger, he has the very first edelbrock turbo kit on his car(since he works for Edelbrock). yes you can retain the a/c system. Last time I talked to him the b16 kit should have somewhere in the 220-230 hp range. Look at the edelbrock website if you want anymore info.

Re: edelbrock turbo kit (99electron_blue_si)
i read everything on the website, and i like this kit because it is very complete, but i wish they had a dyno chart for the b16, numbers are always reassuring. The site is also kinda vague, about ac fitment and other things so i was hoping to ask someone that had it about the quality and their satisfaction or dissatisfaction. thanks players!!!

Re: edelbrock turbo kit (Buzzbomb)
AC, Power Steering, Cruse Control are all retained with this kit. Also there is a secondary O2 bung in the down pipe in case down the road you want to add a Wide band O2 sensor. This kit will make 220 Through a good OEM cat. Do not use a High flow cat, your boost will raise to about 10+ PSI. The Fuel and timing maps on the Piggyback Motortron controller are not designed for 10+ PSI.
