ECU pinout Help
HELP
does someone know what the function is for ALTF = D9 (OBDI)
Only wire that is not hooked up in my OBDII to OBDI wiring conversion. Car runs great, no codes from the ECU.
will this "ALTF" signal missing cause problems later?
I found that it is possibly for the Alternator, but don't know whether it is a monitoring function or a control function
help?
Thanks

Re: ECU pinout Help (Leisyman)
i would say that you dont need it if you have no check light on.. it sounds like an alternate terminal for someting that is not used to run the car. just drive the car and see what it does

D9 - Alternator signal. I don't have my helm's manual in front of me right now but I would assume it's for the ecu to monitor the alternator. If that's the case then I surprised you don't have a cel.
