i have a d15z1 in my car right now, and will soon be putting in a d16z6... i havnt bought a p28 yet, and was wondering if the d15z1 ecu will run the d16z6 enough to drive it... dont care if its not operating to its full potential and whatnot, just want to get this motor in then buy the p28 in a few weeks

any92-95 integra or civic are interchangable but it will not work to its full potential

okay, the reason i was wondering is because i thought i remembered reading somewhere that a guy tried something to this effect and burned the ecu up.... how many posts gets you out of 'trial user' status?

its a period of time not the amount of post..it'll be a couple weeeks tho i think..enjoy being limited

yes it will work, some MIL codes will appear, and super low vtec point will not help. (EGR/02sensor)

some P07 ecus are actually chipable so if your VX came with 4wire 02 sesnor then most likely its P28 program friendly. otherwise check my sig
