ECU help. P07 on D15b8
So i just so happen to be cleaning the car today and decided i would look at the ECU, found out its a p07. If i am thinking correctly a p07 is a vtec (maybe vtec-e?) ECU.
This d15b8 has no power as it is.
Will switching to p06 benefit me at all?
p06 is what i should have, correct?

P07 Is for the D15Z1 found in the '92 - '95 VX hatchback, its vtec-e. What you want for a D15B8 is a P05 from a CX hatchback. Shouldn't be overly expensive as its the least sought after ECU I can think of.

just sold a p05 AND p06 for 40 shipped together. just to give you a price range. the p06 was not working right but the p05 was in perfect condition. lots of people have them laying around and will sell them for 30-40 bucks all day.

your gonna have to wait for the right buyer. mainly becuase its a vtec-e ecu and not many people run that. its becoming increasingly more popular wether people want to admit it or not becuase of the high gas prices. they are going for economy and might do that swap. post it up on the marketplace and look for a p05

They only exist as a 5 speed, D15Z1s were never available mated to an automatic tranny.
