ebay EK4 / SiR lip review
Anyone own the $80 polyurethane SiR / EK4 lips? If so, what are your thoughts on fitment, quality, and durability? How are you installing these lips? Thanks in advance! I searched and couldn't find much on it.

same as what was stated. fitment is ok and since its a beater, it doesnt matter how good it looks if you are low since there will be some dings etc. i say go for it aswell.

Re: ebay EK4 / SiR lip review
sorry for the wait, i work two jobs :D
i did a half *** job installing it, but it turned out decently, i didn't use all the required steps, like soaking it in the sun so it'll be more flexable but it doesn't bother me, its a lip :D also comes with all required install parts so its worth it i guess hope you enjoy

Re: ebay EK4 / SiR lip review
What I am wondering is... how is it installed? is it installed like the OEM SiR lip so you can bolt on the stock oem holes on the bumper? Or is it like a aftermarket lip where you have to screw down the lip to the bumper by creating holes?
and dang... i wish it wasn't shiny = not oem

Re: ebay EK4 / SiR lip review
I have this as well. I ordered it from baysonr, and it was supplied with 5 brackets and 7 screws. I had to get a nut/bolt setup to hold the brackets to the lip, then used the black screws to secure it to the bumper. I had to trim the passenger side corner a but to sit flush, but other than that I have no gaps at all. The inner edge of it is all contoured to fit around the bumper. I'll have more pics Sunday if anyone needs them. The only side note I have is that you HAVE to take off the front bumper to do this, I saw no other possible way.

Re: ebay EK4 / SiR lip review
Looks like it doesn't fit too bad at all! Nice! I would just sand it and throw on a couple coats of duplicolor's trim paint. I did that to a set of side moldings I picked up from the junkyard and they honestly look brand new. Couldn't have been happier with the finish.
