Easiest ways to remove CX dash?
A friend of mine and I are trying to remove the dash so we can run the shifter cables for my swap. We've removed the bolts holding down the center console portion as well as the bolts on either side behind the small covers. Will I have to unbolt the steering wheel? Do I have to undo the cabin harness at all, I would want to do this as little as possible considering it's just going to get mostly wired back together again. Any help is appreciated.

You have to drop the steering column in order to make the dash removal easier. Also you have not taken out the bolt that sits under the top vent (in the middle). Oh, yeah you have to unplug the dash part of the wiring harness from the plugs right by the fuse box.

I just did a dash swap a couple of weeks ago. Very easy...
1. Removed two side dash bolts.
2. Remove the bolt behind ashtray console.
3. Remove the bolt under top vent.
4. Remove the bolt near hood latch.
5. Remove the bolt on right side behind glovebox.
6. Drop the steering column.
7. Remove dash.
