Default DYNO DAY Showdown

Last night, me and a couple of friends met up at Tech3 Performace and had a little after hour show down on the DYNO machince. Here's are the specs of our cars and the result. I can get dynoed sheet posted if anyone want to see it.
Contender #1

1996 EK HB w/1999 GSR Motor LSD
2.25 Piping CAT BACk. Stock everything else
16 inch Rims
BEST RUN : 143.48 HP and 107 Torque

Contender #2

2000 Civic SI
AEM Intake, DUNK Exhause, Header, CAMS GEAR, V-Tech Controller
16 inch Rims
Run 1: 142.XX AND 103 TORQUE
Best Run: 145.xx HP and 103 Torque. After tuned with V-Tech Controller

Contenter #3

1996 HB w/ LS Motor
Everything Stock Except for 2.25 Exhause CAT-BACK
Run 1: 122.21 and 113 Torque (with Silencer)
Best Run: 122.48 HP and 113 Torque (without Siliencer)

It was getting really late and we couldn't really do any tuning and stuff. But it was surely nice to just have 3 daily driven car in there and dynoed at the same time. This is the Exactly same setup was we have on the streets, so it's good to know.

Yes I was impress with my car making 122 HP and 113 Torq Stock. Loving it! Winston is the man for staying after hour and letting us all do our run. We didn't get out of there until 11:00pm. The Price WAS CHEAP! so brings your boys to TECh3 Performance in San Jose.

Sorry for the repost, this was already in the ALL motor section, but I just thought since there is alot of EK this will let people know what they can expect putting different type of motor in their EK's.

Someone was going to point that out sooner or later. But now that we can move on that's good info for EK's and what people can expect. Good stuff .

Yeah the V-TEC Controller gave him about 2 HP after it has a quick tune.. But the GSR was not tune at all.

I think if we were on the streets, that SI is mine ahahah.

* Soccerking3000 *

Thank you for wasting two post. You comment has nothing to do with this thread. Yes, I did spell it wrong and you made your point, but everyone here knows what I am talking about.

For your record Pivot does make a V-Tec Controller.

We are all here to enjoy the thread and learn. I think your comment was a smart *** comment and It's not welcome here.

* Back to the Thread*

Anyone got any suggestion for me to get more instant power. Thinking of getting my ECU chipped so I can hang with the b16a all the way up to 7500 RPM.

Somethings wrong with that GSR. Can you post the dynosheets of that run? Also the A/F those are really low numbers for that motor.

BTW:

Stock my 94 GSR motor did 152.9 whp and 117.7wtq.

Nah i had a cheapo CAI, and a DC 4-1 header. But other then that the same set up as you. I highly doubt the header gave me 10hp.

What exactley is a chipped ECU going to do? If you cant utilize it then it wont do much.
