agree and losing to a b16 gotta suck too but i think a turbo sohc should be able to whoop *** on a b16. they do actually move out nicely

I got my HX going 115 downhill on a private road one time. I bet I could beat that if I was being pulled by something. So when you say "how fast" can a d-series go... I guess it really depends on the situation doesnt it? Perhaps a more argueable question is how much POWER can a d-series make. Thats a little more fun to debate.

Do an all N/A set up first on your engine internal first (P&P, port TB, port match, balanced, blockguard, piston, cam, and no VTEC) then run 14.7psi boost (1 bar) to double that amount.

If you can do 130 in N/A, do 1 bar of boost you will get 260. Nice huh?

thats not a basic b series swap...

and i refuse to get into the discussion about how a d series will make the same power for less.

but my d15 makes more power than a b16 for much less.

That's not exactly fair saying d15 stock against a b16 stock. You spend the money to do a b16 swap and ill spend that money for boltons. You can make a dseries faster then a basic bseries swap with a little know how and less money But for those monkey's that dont' want to think about it yeah...bigger motor = more power. Thats the simple equation. But with the Dseries. Dare to think out of the box
