Default Dumping old brake fluid and coolant...

So where do you go to recycle these. Or can you? I seriously doubt dumping on the ground is very safe. I usually dump my oil at pep boys, but I havn't seen any place to dum these.

Call your local parts stores/garages.

Just dump them in the back yard.

Call a parts store. They must recycle by law if they have an install facility. They may charge a couple bucks, but it will save us all.

Serious? I asked a guy there and he said they didn't. If I gotta pay to dump it maybe I don't want to recycle.

PLEASE dispose of those fluids properly. Don't ruin the environment just to save $3. Cleaning up that mess later on costs big bucks. Thank you for your cooperation.

do what you do with oil. pour it into a water-tight sealing container, like an old paint thinners drum, close it tightly, put a piece of red tape over the lid/cap, put a label on it telling whats inside, put it out for the garbage collecters to get it. that's what me, and my neighbors do. we do it all the time with our: oil, old coolant, brakefluid, ETC.
